Served as the lead instructor for the “AI for Future Software Engineers” Short Course organized by Pamulang University, delivered online via Zoom. The program ran for 4 consecutive days (July 6–9, 2026) and was attended by 1,200 students ranging from semester 1 to semester 8.

This short course was designed to equip students with practical understanding of how AI can be effectively used in learning, coding, project planning, and career development as a Software Engineer.

Curriculum

Day 1 — AI as a Learning Assistant

Introduction to AI, Generative AI, and LLMs. Students learned Prompt Engineering for academic needs and built their personal Prompt Library.

Day 2 — AI as a Pair Programmer

Using AI for code generation, debugging, code review, and documentation. Students practiced AI-assisted coding workflows with proper verification.

Day 3 — AI in the Software Development Lifecycle

Applying AI across all SDLC phases — from requirement analysis, user stories, feature definition, project planning, to technical documentation.

Day 4 — Ethics, Career & Future of Software Engineering

Ethics of AI usage, academic integrity, data privacy, bias awareness, and skills that remain relevant in the AI era.
